The Resort Manager position is a key role that will help all aspects of the business grow. MAJOR DUTIES Provide clear leadership and supervision to assistants. Be fair and impartial to each employee in regards to scheduling and discipline. Develop and implement a routine priority system that will facilitate the standards set by the owner as they apply to the care of animals and maintenance of the building. Maintain standards of performance that must be met to effectively keep the inn running smoothly. Maintain a monthly work schedule and distribute to all inn assistants. Assist the owner in developing methods that will enhance the morale of the inn staff. Inn assistants should feel that they are vital to the operation of this business and are appreciated. Provide instruction and training to inn assistants. Mediate any interpersonal problems. Oversee all guest relations (human and animal). Meet regularly with the owner to discuss any problems or improvements. Observe and report any repairs and maintenance to the general manager. Provide and enforce a maintenance schedule of building equipment. Provide support and assistance in the area of accountability. Give prompt attention to requests for meetings, repairs and supplies. Assist whenever needed with emergency scheduling or after hours security.
